Poster Submission Guidelines - The submission deadline has passed.

Posters should describe original, interesting, and solid scientific content that is relevant to bioinformatics and computational biology.

Poster abstracts should be submitted by Thursday, June 8th, 2006, using the online poster submission form. They will be reviewed to ensure that the content is appropriate. We will attempt to accept as many posters as possible, subject to space restrictions.

Posters are intended to convey scientific results and are not advertisements for commercial products. Posters from commercial organizations should describe scientific advances; they should not be primarily commercial in nature. A poster that is judged by the conference organizers to be an advertisement will be subject to removal without notice. See the Sponsorship Opportunities page for information about displaying Industry Posters.

The presenting author of each poster must register for the conference by the early registration deadline of Monday, July 10th, 2006, in order for the poster to be included in the program. Presenting authors are expected to attend the poster session. Because of space constraints, no conference participant should be the presenting author on more than one poster; but submitting both a paper and poster is acceptable.

Each poster will have a space of 1 meter wide by 1.5 meters tall (39 x 59 inches). The conference will provide pins for hanging posters.

Tables will not be available for laptop computer demos in the poster area. If you would like to demonstrate your software, please apply to give a software demo.

Poster abstracts will be considered personal communications to conference attendees. Abstracts will not be published in the proceedings, but will appear in the program.

Please direct any questions to the Conference Secretariat.
